Jane Holl Lute, who was appointed by the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres as the temp special adviser to Cyprus met the two leaders in Cyprus and Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Foreign Minister of Turkey. As a conclusion of these series of meetings, the two leaders will be meeting in New York in September.
Turkish Lira, which is being used by both Turkey and North Cyprus, is having difficult times. Both countries’ economies are collapsing due to the decrease in the value of Turkish lira on the world’s markets. Even though this brings economic corruption to Turkey, it is believed that it will help to solve the Cyprus problem and the offer made by the President Anastasiadis will be accepted by all parties.
President Anastasiadis and his team have prepared a new plan as 1 Euro is worth 7 Turkish Lira at the moment. Since the Turkish Lira has become garbage against Euro, the plan will include of buying the whole of North Cyprus for peanuts.
According to untrusted sources, President Anastasiadis said “This problem will not be solved by negotiations. Now that the Turkish Lira is worth nothing, lets buy the North so everybody can go home”. The same sources added that Ankara has agreed to these conditions and will call back all the military personnel and it’s citizens back to Turkey as soon as the money is paid off.
President Anastasiadis stated that “ Money is ready, harry up and make up your mind, Euro is more valuable every day that passes by. We can pay by credit card, cash or by cheque. I heard that now Zwan beef is very expensive there. So if you prefer we can pay the half by Zwan beef, and no worries, its “halal meat”.
